17742 Exposure Head HEAD: shutdown of thermal head due to temperature or humidity alarm Thermal Every thirty seconds, the thermal head firmware reads the case temperature, ambient temperature and humidity sensors and compares the reading to the appropriate threshholds. If any threshhold has been exceeded, the thermal head is shutdown and any plot in progress is aborted. This error code indicates an alarm condition. This error code applies to Thermal Head firmware version 1.30 and above. Call service. Verify the temperature and humidity of the environment local to the machine. Check the thermal head cooling ( thermal heads are air-cooled or water-cooled ).
